A Marine Infantry Officer Course (IOC) student takes notes during a rehearsal of concepts drill at hangar 109 at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., Wednesday, August 18, 2014. IOC relocated to MCAS Yuma from Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., in order to acquaint its students with the aviation combat element and its capabilities to supplement ground maneuver tactics. The students teamed up with pilots and crew chiefs from Marine Aviation and Weapons Squadron 1, based out of MCAS Yuma, to rehearse the plan of action for IOC’s final exercise, Talon Reach IV.
