The “Magic 10-Miler” is a 10-mile race open to the Japanese public, hosted by Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, MCAS Futenma, Marine Corps Installations Pacific. The funds raised were donated to local Ginowan City charities. The route took Japanese and U.S. participants down the aircraft runway and inside the perimeter of MCAS Futenma.
