Aviation machinist's mate 3rd Class Benjamin K. Darkwah, 28, directs the movement of an F404 engine from an F/A-18 Hornet in the jet shop on board the Nimitz class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). The engine is being moved to an after burner stand so a High Pressure Compressor module can be dismantled and replaced. Ronald Reagan and Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 14 are underway performing a sustainment exercise in the Pacific Ocean.
