Sailors lower the ensign as the the amphibious dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry (LSD 43) deploys as part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group/22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (BAT ARG/22MEU) in support of Maritime Security Operations (MSO) and Theater Security Cooperation (TSC) efforts in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility. The Bataan ARG/22 MEU is comprised of embarked Marines from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5), the USS Fort McHenry, and the amphibious transport dock ship USS Ponce (LPD 15).
