Kilcline Jr's father, then-Cmdr. Thomas J. Kilcline Sr. was a pilot of the aircraft and commanding officer of RVAH-11, then-LCDR Vince Monroe served as RAN (Reconnaissance Attack Navigator), the model's paint scheme is derived from their aircraft.
