Airman Jose Porcayo (left) and Petty Officer 3rd Class Nika Fugate from USS Constitution, are interviewed on the KOB-TV NBC morning television show at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Sailors from USS Constitution participated in Albuquerque Navy Week, Oct. 3-11. Wearing the circa-1813 uniforms, they conducted knot-tying demonstrations, book readings for children, and other community relations events. Albuquerque Navy Week is one of 21 Navy Weeks planned across America in 2009. Navy Weeks are designed to show Americans the investment they have made in their Navy and increase awareness in cities that do not have a significant Navy presence.
