Two cadets with the Osbourn Park High School (Manassas, Va.) Naval Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) enjoy a moment of fun in between tasks to set up the parade field at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) for the 15th annual NJROTC Drill Competition. NJROTC color guard units from the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia fiercely competed Sept. 27 for an opportunity to present the nation’s colors at the Navy Ball in Washington. The Ball is attended by the Chief of Naval Operations and other military and non-military leaders. The competition is judged by members of the Navy’s elite Ceremonial Guard.
