Enemy weapons were turned in by units on Joint Base Balad and through amnesty boxes and are being destroyed so they cannot be collected and used against coalition forces and Iraqis at a later point in time. Hurd is deployed here from McChord Air Force Base, Wash., and is a native of Omaha, Neb. Fleming is deployed here from Altus Air Force Base, Okla., and is a from Minneapolis.
