Sitting volleyball players receive their medals at the award ceremony after the Marines vs. Navy game at the 2014 Warrior Games on Oct. 2, 2014, at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Navy won the game and landed them with the gold medal, while Marines took silver and Army took bronze after the week long duel. The Marine team is comprised of both active duty and veteran wounded, ill and injured Marines who are attached to or supported by the Wounded Warrior Regiment, the official unit of the Marine Corps charged with providing comprehensive non-medical recovery care to wounded, ill and injured Marines. The Warrior Games are a Paralympic-style competition for more than 200 wounded, ill and injured service members and are taking place Sept. 28 to Oct. 4 at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
