U.S. Sailors and Marines assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) man the rails as the ship passes the Oakland Bay Bridge during a scheduled port visit for the 34th Annual Fleet Week Oct. 6, 2014, in San Francisco, Calif. Fleet Week is an annual celebration of the sea services held in various U.S. cities throughout the year. The event provides an opportunity for citizens to see Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard ships and equipment, as well as interact with U.S. Service members.
