James Lukeman, the commanding general of Marine Corps Training and Education Command, Oct. 9, 2014, on Parris Island, S.C. Kissoon spoke about how the new barracks have made recruit training for his battalion more efficient by providing ample space, modern facilities and increasing the quality of life for his recruits and his drill instructors.
