Petty Officer 3rd Class Eric B. Bereveskos, of Fishers, Ind., a student at the Coast Guard's Aviation Technical Training Center, reviews measurements taken during a stabilator inspection on an MH-60 helicopter Maintenance Training Unit, assisted by fellow aviation maintenance technician Petty Officer Third Class James A. Holt, of Cooper City, Fla., March 18, 2014. Students in the five-week Aviation Maintenance Technician MH-60 Airframe & Powertrain course learn how to conduct maintenance on the Coast Guard's MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter: how to select the correct repair procedure, conduct appropriate function checks, and complete the repair to return the aircraft to service. AMTs in the Coast Guard may fill a variety of aircrew positions including flight engineer, flight mechanic, loadmaster, dropmaster, sensor-systems operator, or basic aircrewman.
