Staff Sgt. Tim Glass, of Bedford, Iowa, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, performs a functions check on a .50 cal machine gun during the hands-on evaluation of the Sgt. Audie Murphy board, April 11, Joint Security Station Loyalty, located in eastern Baghdad. The board was a two-day event which test non-commissioned officers on a variety of military knowledge and warrior skills. Twelve NCOs were nominated for membership will move on to the division level and be evaluated by the division club members.
