Staff Sgt. Mason, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, uses a navigation device during the land navigation portion of the hands-on evaluation during the Sgt. Audie Murphy board, April 11, Joint Security Station Loyalty, located in eastern Baghdad. The board was a two-day event which test non-commissioned officers on a variety of military knowledge and warrior skills. Mason and nine NCOs were nominated for membership will move on to the division level and be evaluated by the division club members.
