Maj Gen. B. Bayarmagnai, deputy chief of general staff Mongolian Armed Forces hosts Maj. Gen. Richard M. Burr, deputy commanding general, operations, U.S. Army, Pacific, June 25 in a ger for lunch and a discussion about the successful ongoing training at Mongolia's Five Hills Training Area as part of Khaan Quest 2014. A ger is the traditional dwelling of the nomads in Mongolia. Known as a yurt in the U.S., a ger is a tent-like structure made from a wooden frame and covered by wool felt. Khaan Quest is a multinational peacekeeping exercise co-sponsored by U.S. Army, Pacific, and U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific, hosted annually by the Mongolian Armed Forces. (U.S. Army photo by Maj.
