Burr, deputy commanding general, operations, U.S. Army, Pacific, June 25 in a ger for lunch and a discussion about the successful ongoing training at Mongolia's Five Hills Training Area as part of Khaan Quest 2014. A ger is the traditional dwelling of the nomads in Mongolia. Known as a yurt in the U.S., a ger is a tent-like structure made from a wooden frame and covered by wool felt.
