Sgt. Jodi Wald, Task Force 34 Headquarters Orderly Room non-commissioned officer from Blaine, Minn., received a Meritorious Service Medal at an award ceremony on Joint Base Balad, Iraq, on April 29. Awards were given by Lt. Col. Michael Taff, Task Force 34 executive officer. The Meritorious Service Medal is given to those who have distinguished themselves by outstanding non-combat meritorious achievement in a designated combat theatre.
