Nicholas Lacroix, Task Force 34 headquarters air plans information manager from Prior Lake, Minn., receives a Meritorious Service Medal at an award ceremony on Joint Base Balad, Iraq, on May 4. Awards were given by Col. Clay Brock, Task Force 34 commander. The Meritorious Service Medal is given to those who have distinguished themselves by outstanding noncombat meritorious achievement in a designated combat theater.
