Lance Cpl. Andrew G. Martinez, team leader with Charlie Company, Battalion Landing Team 1/1, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, from Sandy, Ore., slides down a rope off the ramp of a CH-46E helicopter staged on the flight deck of USS Boxer to the lowered elevator as one of his eight runs to complete his fast-roping qualification, May 9. The 13th MEU and Boxer Amphibious Ready Group are currently on a deployment in support of regional and Maritime Security Operations.
