Marines and Sailors with 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit slide down a rope hanging from a CH-46E helicopter staged at the edge of the flight deck to the lowered elevator in the hangar bay of USS Boxer while receiving coaching from a helicopter rope suspension technique master in the helicopter. Trained Marines watch nearby as new fast-ropers descend during qualifications, May 9. The 13th MEU and Boxer Amphibious Ready Group are currently on a deployment in support of regional and Maritime Security Operations.
