Lt. Col. Eric Waage, 834th Aviation Support Battalion Commander from Plymouth, Minn., addressed the audience at the Flag Casing Ceremony following their deployment to Joint Base Balad, Iraq on May 13. Due to a general draw down in troops in Iraq, 834th ASB did not transfer their authority at the end of their nine month tour with Task Force 34, but were relieved from duty.
