Pfc. Kelsey McLachlan of Fountain, Colo., learns how to perform female searches while maintaining cultural sensitivity during Entry Control Point training at Fort Hood, Texas, May 8. McLachlan, deploying with Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 3rd Battalion, 157th Field Artillery, Colorado Army National Guard, said, "I learned a lot about how to do searches. At first I wasn't that comfortable with it, but after a few times I got used to it because it started becoming second nature." The battalion is scheduled to deploy with the 115th Fires Brigade in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
