The Soldiers of the 590th Quartermaster Company utilize Caughman Range to qualify Soldiers on their assigned weapons. The task of qualifying Soldiers on their weapons starts with first ensuring Soldiers are trained and proficient on their weapons systems with preliminary marksmanship instruction. Next, Soldiers learn to perform malfunction corrections on their weapons during basic rifle marksmanship. Lastly, Soldiers learn to utilize marksmanship techniques to increase their shooting abilities during advanced rifle marksmanship.
