Lance Cpl. Joel E. Schram (right), a native of Yuma, Ariz., and Squad Automatic Weapon gunner with Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, teaches proper disassembly of the SAW to Bulgarian army Sgt. Anatoly Ianchev, a chemical weapon specialist and resident of Sliven, Bulgaria, May 28. Kilo Co. is aboard the Nova Selo Training Area conducting training at the joint Bulgarian-American training base. This is the first time U.S. Marines have conducted this kind of training in Bulgaria. The 22nd MEU is currently serving as the theater reserve force for U.S. European Command.
