Brig. Gen. Juan G. Ayala, the 2nd Marine Logistics Group (Forward) commanding general, passes the non-commissioned officer sword to Sgt. Maj. William T. Stables during a post and relief ceremony aboard Camp Al Taqaddum, Iraq, May 29, 2009. The passing of the sword was part of the ceremony for the relief of Sgt. Maj. Carl R. Green as the 2nd MLG (FWD) sergeant major and the post of Stables in the billet.
