Heavy equipment drops from the tailgate of a C-17 Globe Master III during Exercise Spartan Pegasus Feb. 24, 2015 at Deadhorse, Alaska. The extremely cold demonstration in airborne operations and arctic mobility took place in one of the northern-most territories of Alaska, well north of the Earth’s Arctic Circle. Spartan Pegasus allows USARAK the ability to maximize training resources across multiple units to maintain readiness in a wide array of mission sets across the Arctic and Pacific region.
