Capt. Kenneth D. Gillespie, a U.S. chaplain assigned to 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment receives a carminative plate from Lt. Col Taavi Laanepere, head chaplain of the Estonian Defense Forces after his presentation, March 4, 2015 Alu, Estonia. Chaplains from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and the United States came together on Monday for the Chaplains Baltic Cooperation Exercise, a weeklong conference between the NATO Allies. The event is part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, which has 3rd Squadron, 2 CR deployed to training locations in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia to train with host nation forces in order to assure allies of U.S. resolve and improve Allied interoperability.
