(March 9, 2015) Friends and family members say good-bye as more than 300 Sailors aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99) depart homeport at Naval Station Mayport to support the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group. While deployed, they will serve in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
