    376th Air Expeditionary Wing

    Senior Airman Adam Leland marshals in a KC-135 Stratotanker, piloted by Col. Christopher Bence, the 376th Air Expeditionary Wing commander, to a stop June 6, during the commander's "fini flight" at Manas Air Base, Kyrgyzstan. The pilot, logged 4,533 hours during his nearly 23 years of Air Force service. In his one-year tenure at Manas, he flew 46 combat sorties in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Col. Bence will soon depart Manas and will use those years of flying experience at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., where he will be the deputy J3 director for operations for U.S. Transportation Command.
