150310-N-NT265-295 EAST CHINA SEA (March 10, 2015) – Marines, assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), move Amphibious Assault Vehicles after entering the well deck of the Whidbey Island-class amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48). Ashland is part of the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, along with the embarked 31st MEU, is currently conducting an Amphibious Integration Training (AIT) exercise.
