Gunnery Sgt. Terry D. Lewis reads a letter of appreciation Feb. 24 during a visit to Okito Taxi Company in Urasoe City, Okinawa. Marines with the Criminal Investigation Division of the Provost Marshal’s Office presented a letter of appreciation to the Okito Taxi Company, contracted with the Army and Air Force Exchange Service, not only for their assistance in solving a credit card fraud case, but also turning in items left in taxis by service members. Businesses do their part by staying vigilant and reporting suspicious activity to PMO, according to Lewis, a native of Fredericksburg, Va. Lewis is the central district chief and an investigator with CID, PMO, Marine Corps Installations Pacific-Marine Corps Base Camp Butler, Japan.
