Lt. Col. Tony Bango, commander of 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance and native of Harrisville, N.Y., standing alongside GySgt. Christopher Hall, the training chief for 2nd LAR and native of Jacksonville, N.C., cuts a ribbon to celebrate the opening of the battalion’s new heritage room. Hall personally did most of the labor to renovate the old warehouse into a room which houses the battalions’ collection of memorabilia and will be used as a place for the battalion’s staff noncommissioned officers and officers to receive classes, bond and build camaraderie.
