Gunnery Sgt. Christopher Hall, the 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion training chief and native of Jacksonville, N.C., poses for a picture holding a photograph of what the room used to look like before being renovated into the 2nd LAR heritage room. Hall personally did most of the labor to renovate the old warehouse into a room which houses the battalion’s collection of memorabilia and will be used as a place for the battalion’s staff noncommissioned officers and officers to receive classes, bond and build camaraderie.
