This picture of stairs taken from the fourth floor of Building 1 are part of photo documentation of the former Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington. It was one of the largest facilities shut under the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure Commission process. The photo inventory by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers complied with cultural resources requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act.
