(March 18, 2015) Aviation ordnancemen set up a target tow-banner for the Blue Blasters of Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 34, which is training at Naval Air Station Key West’s Boca Chica Field Wednesday. Tow banners are used as an effective low-cost device for air-to-air and surface-to-air gunnery training and are trailed approximately 1,800 feet behind the tow aircraft.
