150327-N-KE519-001 WATERS TO THE EAST OF THE KOREAN PENINSULA (March 27, 2015) - The amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20) steams in formation with the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), left, and Republic of Korea navy amphibious assault ship ROKS Dokdo (LPH 6111), right. U.S. Sailors and Marines from the Bonhomme Richard Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) are participating in the Korean Marine Exchange Program (KMEP) in the Republic of Korea (ROK) with the ROK Marine Corp and Navy. The Bonhomme Richard ARG is comprised of the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20), the Whidbey-island class amphibious dock landing ship USS Ashland (LSD 48) and the embarked 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU).
