Petty Officer 3rd Class, a damage controlman, rubs the sweat from his eyes as he and Petty Officer 2nd Class Steven Wilson, a machinist's mate, disrobe after fighting simulated fires during a General Quarters drill aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). General Quarters drills are held frequently aboard Ronald Reagan to prepare the crew for emergency situations. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
