U.S. Marine Lance Cpl. Ramon Perez, center, a civil affairs Marine assigned to III Marine Expeditionary Force, is ‘shoulder-to-shoulder’ with Armed Forces of the Philippines engineers from the 522nd Engineering Construction Battalion passing a bucket filled with cement for placement at Don Joaquin Elementary School in Tapaz, Philippines, during Balikatan 2015, April 9. The engineers, along with U.S. Navy Seabees from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 5, are part of the Combined-Joint Civil-Military Operations Task Force located on the island of Panay constructing two classrooms at the school.
