Brenden Bliss, a history instructor for the Military Campus Programs department at Hawaii Pacific University, teaches the students of Young Alaka’i Phase II about King Kamehameha I invasion of Oahu April 10 at Diamond Head Beach Park. The class, which taught 23 officers, warrant officers and senior noncommissioned officers from 8th Theater Sustainment Command, a three-phase program by 8th TSC that is targeted toward top-performing Army leaders to help them improve their leadership skills.
