Brenden Bliss, a history instructor for the Military Campus Programs department at Hawaii Pacific University, shows the students of Young Alaka’i Phase II the location and terrain Kalanikūpule used to defend Oahu against King Kamehameha I April 10 at the rim of Punchbowl Crater. The class, which tought 23 officers, warrant officers and senior noncommissioned officers from 8th Theater Sustainment Command, a three-phase program by 8th TSC that is targeted toward top-performing Army leaders to help them improve their leadership skills.
