Soldiers from the 2nd Cavalry Regiment march into Rose Barracks, their home base, as they complete their 1,800 km "Dragoon Ride" from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland on April 1. The 16th Sustainment Brigade provided all three "Dragoon Ride" convoys with logistical support. The Knight's Brigade Soldiers later earned their "silver spurs" from the 2nd Cavalry Regiment for their participation. “Dragoon Ride,” an operational movement in which 3rd Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment drove their vehicles as far as 1,100 miles, and through five NATO-allied countries, back to Rose Barracks, Vilseck, Germany. The movement was a capstone exercise for 3-2 Cav.’s rotation under Atlantic Resolve-North, where units under U.S. Army Europe train with allied nations from the Baltics and Poland.
