National Guard Soldiers and Airmen conduct a Homeland Response Force (HRF) Region II training exercise at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst on April 17. The HRF, a rapidly deployable task force capable of responding to large scale chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear (CBRN) emergencies, is comprised of designated security, search and extraction, decontamination, and medical elements.
