Soldiers from the 3rd Infantry Division practice the eye gouge on each other here at Jordan Gym, April 16. The eye gouge is just one self defense technique they learned during the division's Sexual Harassment/Assault Awareness Response and Prevention Self Defense Course held here as part of the 3rd ID’s efforts to raise awareness and prevention of sexual harassment and assault during the Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month. The course was made available to any and all who wanted to attend, and focused on teaching critical moves to stop unwanted advances, break contact from aggressors, and get out of dangerous situations.
