Sgt. Teo Garcia of Miami, rejoined the Army following an eight-year break in service after losing a best of three game series in pool to his friend and retired Army first sergeant, Jeffrey King, at a bar in Wildwood, N.J. Keeping his word, Garcia rejoined the military ranks in 2007 to become a paratrooper assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division. Garcia is currently deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and is based at Joint Security Station, Iraq, located in the 9 Nissan District of eastern Baghdad.
