Greg Lusk, of Raleigh, N.C., during a ceremony at Forward Operation Base Falcon, July 19. Mosteller, Lusk, and the other soldiers of the 30th Heavy Brigade Combat Team operate from Forward Operating Base Falcon. The North Carolina National Guard Soldiers are allowed to wear the patches on their right sleeves, signifying that they have deployed to a combat theater.
