NEW ORLEANS (April 25, 2015) Capt. C.J. Cassidy, U.S. Naval Attache to Canada at U.S. Embassy Ottawa, left and Rear Adm. Kevin Slates, director, Chief of Naval Operations Energy and Environmental Readiness Division attend a reception aboard Royal Canadian Navy Iroquois-class destroyer HMCS Athabaskan (DDG 282). Amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) Sailors and Marines assigned to the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit are currently underway to participate in Navy Week New Orleans 2015, a weeklong celebration and collaboration with the community of New Orleans with ships representing the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, as well as the Royal Navy and Royal Canadian Navy.
