Senior Airman David Britt, 447th Expeditionary Logistics Readiness Squadron fuels lab technician, retrieves a fuel sample from "Frankenstein." The "Frankenstein," which was built primarily by Airman Britt, is a connection designed to re-circulate fuel through the hose to the apparatus allowing an individual to safely retrieve a fuel sample. Samples are taken weekly and used to test the fuel for water and sediment to ensure the Iraqi air force receives the highest quality fuel possible. Airman Britt is deployed from McConnell Air Force Base, Kan., and is a native of Enterprise, Ala.
