150425-N-VC236-020 ARABIAN GULF (April 25, 2015) - A Sailor assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99) clean the ship's aft missile deck during a freshwater washdown. The wash down helps prevent corrosion of the ship's metal due to exposure to salt water. Farragut is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations conducting maritime security operations.
