150429-N-VC236-033 ARABIAN GULF (April 29, 2015) - A Sailor assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99) signals to a MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 46 "Grandmasters" to ask permission to remove auxiliary power from the helicopter during flight quarters. Farragut is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations as part of Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
