Spc. Travis Birr from Rochester, Minn., a healthcare specialist with the 492nd Engineer Company out of Mankato, Minn., sifts sand to remove large rocks during this year's Beyond the Horizon mission. BTH is a humanitarian and civic assistance exercise that lasts for several months and provides construction and medical assistance to the people of El Salvador.
