A Tarmiyah citizen carries a pair of propane tanks to be exchanged . Citizens of the small town were allowed two tanks of propane per person from a rare shipment of more than 1,500 tanks of propane, which was secured by Sheik Saeed Jassim, the mayor of Tarmiyah. The residents rely heavily on the propane for use in heating and cooking.
